Hi my name is Diane Allman, I am 44 years young I am a wife and I am lucky enough to be a mum to two girls age 26 and 12 and also a little boy who is two years old . In my free time which isn’t a great deal I like to volunteer at my daughters local guides gathering this was only meant to be for a few weeks but after two years I am still there. ( I will do anything to get out of the bed time routine for one night a week). I like to socialise with family and friends and to plan trips and holidays and to make as many memories as I can alongside my family.
My current role is a Case Manager within the Changing Futures programme and prior to this role I was a System Broker for Voices of Stoke for 8 years. I have worked with individuals of multiple disadvantage for 14 years in total and my experience is varied I started my journey in this sector as a relief worker at 90 Hope Street and I believe this was the best way for me to gain some experience of being a frontline worker within the sector, I quickly gained a full time position as a night worker then I progressed to become a keyworker within 90 Hope Street. I feel very privileged to work alongside some of the most experienced and committed workers within the city. My passion is to offer our customers a voice in their journey to live a more fulfilled life, advocacy to achieve this and to walk alongside them no matter how long it takes.
